I'm a passionate, driven, authentic, and empathetic
People Operations Professional, based in my lovely home city of Cape Town, South Africa. 🌲🧡

I'm the happiest and most fulfilled when I'm enabling others to do their best work. I absolutely love, and care deeply, about the work I do. 🚀

I have over 10 years of progressive experience in People Ops (People & Culture), General Operations, and Administration. 🧙🏻‍♂️

I also hold a Master's Degree in Business Science (MBSc) from
The University of Cape Town's School of Management Studies. 🎓📜

What is "People Operations", and Why is it Good That We're Moving Away from "Human Resources"?

In this article, I discuss how far we've come in the field of People Operations / People & Culture, and what those approaches mean, as compared to the old, outdated Human Resources guide. I also discuss my own people-first methodology, that filters into every facet of my work. Finally, I mention why the industry shift is a good one, for all businesses, of all sizes, across the globe, and, more importantly, the people working with them.
